Chris Perri featured on new Austin true-crime podcast, The Orange Tree

We’re excited to share that Chris Perri will be featured on The Orange Tree podcast, which begins airing today. This highly anticipated documentary series, produced by KUT Austin and The Drag, examines the tragic murder of 21-year-old Jennifer Cave, which occurred in a University of Texas west campus apartment complex called The Orange Tree in 2005. The case, and the mysteries swirling around it, have haunted Austin ever since.

Chris was one of the post-conviction attorneys who represented Colton Pitonyak, a UT student at the time, on appeal. Colton was found guilty of murdering Jennifer at trial. However, after his conviction, new evidence has come to light, which has thrown his guilt into question.

To this day, Chris still believes Colton deserves a new trial. To learn why, be sure to listen to all seven episodes of the podcast.
